Naano Giizhigad

Friday today. Perhaps the best day out of all the seven days. Everybody knows why. So I don't know whats going on this weekend. I have some family coming down this way. They'll be over at the Shooting Star Casino for Loretta Lynn's concert. Last weekend I had family come visit me also......actually they came down for Tom Stillday's funeral, but they did spend the weekend at our place. I went to the casino with them also on that Saturday. So last weekend it was my moms side of the family that came down; this weekend it's my dads side of the family. It would be nice to go over to Mahnomen and chill with them. Just not too sure at the moment how all of that would work. But yeah its been a good two weekends having fam. come down this way although this weekend hasn't ended yet and I havent even seen them yet; but just the thought of knowing that they are on this way makes me smile. So we will see what happens I guess. Have a good weekend all.

Still Awake

Yup it's that early in the morning of Thursday October 23. I can't sleep sometimes. This morning is no exception. I figured why bother trying to fight it, might as well stay awake, get up earlier than usual the next day, and then I should be tired later on that it'll help me sleep. My beautiful wife is off in dreamland as we speak....LOL....she has farted a few times already which is pretty funny. So here I am up and at 'em playing ESPNPC and watching Kingpin of TNT. I got the next two days off from work; so it's not like I have to be anywhere today. I will do some house work though; maybe do the dishes, a bit of laundry, vacuum and maybe even sweep. Who knows. For sure dishes though. Anyways I thought I would write in this thingy.

So if you read this.........good morning to you all but in my case.....good night pretty soon.

Aabitose

Well today is a Wednesday. How do you say that in Ojibwe agin.......aaniin tagiin.......oh yeah Aabitose giizhigad. It literally means in the middle day; so Wednesday being hump and bump in the middle of the week; it is fitting. Them old Ojibwes back in the day sure knew what the hell they were doing when they made up all these words.
So anyways no school again tomorrow and Friday. Man I haven't seen a school take these many days off in two weeks. Here I thought Whitefish Bay School was bad with so many days off. Last week also BHS had Thursday and Friday off. I guess I can't complain. This blog should be a place to speak my mind right now, but I'll keep it to myself at the moment. There is still another week to go.
Anyways World Series starts tonight. I've been a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies since they lost to the Toronto Blue Jays back in 92 or 93 it was. I'm not a big fan of the Phillies as I am a huge fan of the New Jersey Devils. But if I were to have a favourite team in each sport the Phillies would definately be it in the MLB, the New Jersey Nets in the NBA, and the Oakland Raiders in the NFL. So go Phillies......i've been waiting since I was 15.
So thats all for today. I don't know what the plans are this weekend, see what happens I guess.
Oh yeah Hunting Moon Pow Wow in Milwaukee next weekend is a big IF right now. See how that goes.

Sheesh

My last post a few minutes ago I said I have difficulties expressing myself in writing and speaking also. Well I was just reading one of my old blogs and I said that time that I had difficulties expressing myself, or something like that, when writing it down; and I'm more better at expressing myself through talking or actions or something like that.

I have another reason for not blogging this whole time now........I don't know most of the time what the hell I'm talking about. HAHA....funny.

That Long Already

Feels like three years ago since I last wrote in my blog....actually it's been over a year so technically that still is a long time. I'm not much of a writer; never was one in the first place. My vocabulary or choice of words on how to express certain things in my head are difficult to come by. In high school my strongest subject was Math. I was, still could be, a genius with numbers. Well.....I wasn't really a genius, but for sure I would have to say math was my strongest subject and even my favourite subject. English, creative writing, or whatever you call it was never really appealing to me. I enjoyed reading books and all but me writing stuff down was something I never looked forward too. I have difficulties expressing myself as some people might already know, whether its in writing or in words, I just can't get over the express myself part. Something happend in my life I guess that made it difficult for me to do so. I think this carried over to writing as well.
One other thing about writing and me is I only write stuff down when I have to. Say for example a huge research paper, a thesis, an essay, proffesional letters.......stuff you have to do. Stuff that I am responsible for I guess you could say. Otherwise I have difficulties expressing and sharing or worse yet I'm just too plain LAZY.
I tried hard just to write this little thing down. I think I'm getting a headache now. LOL. Did I make sense? Its ok if I didn't. I'm not even sure myself if I did or not.
